I am a young entrepreneur who embarked on this journey at the age of
22, driven by a vision to revolutionize water consumption in India. Dvine United Private Limited is co-founded and led by two women, Madhusmita
Thakur and myself, Nandini Lakhotia. Our mission began when we identified
a significant gap between India’s water consumption habits and those of
developed countries. While countries like Japan and South Korea have
adopted alkaline and hydrogenated water for better health, India remains
largely dependent on RO water—often referred to as “dead water” due to its
stripped minerals and lack of vitality.
Despite growing awareness, the market in India is plagued by duplicity
and dependency on imported ionizers primarily designed for regions with
vastly different water sources. Japanese and Korean ionizers perform
exceptionally in their native countries, but India’s water composition differs
significantly. Recognizing this challenge, we took it upon ourselves to
develop a solution specifically tailored to the Indian market.
The journey has been anything but easy—it required extensive research, overcoming skepticism, and navigating multiple rejections. However, our persistence led to the development of a pioneering system that not only brings global water purification advancements to India but also adapts them to our unique water conditions. This innovation ensures that Indian consumers receive the maximum health benefits from alkaline and hydrogen-rich water.
